Israel Hamas War: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has expressed objection to the attacks being carried out by Israel in Gaza. Wang Yi told Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan that Israeli attacks on Gaza now go “beyond the scope of self-defense.”
Wang Yi said that the Israeli government should now stop giving collective punishment to the people of Gaza. China’s partner country Iran has said that Israel should stop war crimes now otherwise the situation will go out of control.
If the Israeli apartheid’s war crimes & genocide are not halted immediately, the situation could spiral out of control & ricochet far-reaching consequences—the responsibility of which lies with the UN, the Security Council & the states steering the Council toward a dead end.

America had appealed to China to improve the situation
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had requested China to play the role of mediator in maintaining peace in Israel. The US Secretary of State said that China should use its influence to maintain peace because China and Iran are partner countries.
China’s stance?
According to a readout published by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, for his part, said that the US should play a constructive and responsible role in seeking a political solution as soon as possible.”
Wang Yi said, “When dealing with internationally sensitive issues, major countries should take into account impartiality. Countries should maintain peace and restraint and take the leading role in abiding by international law.” The Chinese Foreign Minister said that Beijing has called for an international peace meeting to be held as soon as possible to promote reaching a comprehensive consensus.
