Israel Hamas War PM Benjamin Netanyahu Cabinet Meeting: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday (October 15) chaired the first meeting of the country’s emergency government cabinet after the start of the war with Hamas. The Cabinet observed a minute of silence for those killed in the terrorist attack on southern Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during the meeting that we work unitedly and with teamwork, 24 hours a day. The unity within us gives a clear message to the people, the enemy and the world. A top opposition Israeli politician announced on Wednesday (October 13) that he had reached an agreement with Netanyahu to join the wartime unity government.

All the ministers observed silence for one minute
Israel’s former defense minister and military chief Benny Gantz issued a joint statement with Netanyahu. The statement said that he would form a five-member war-management cabinet. As long as the fighting continues, the government will not pass any law or decision that is not related to the war. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the meeting that I urge members of the government to observe a minute of silence in memory of the people of our country and our hero fighters who have been brutally murdered. After the PM’s request, all the ministers present in the meeting kept silence for one minute. During this, Netanyahu said that this is the first meeting of the National Emergency Government.

‘We will break Hamas into pieces’
Benjamin Netanyahu said that I saw our wonderful fighters who are now on the front lines, they know that the entire country is behind them. They understand the magnitude of the task. They are ready to act at any moment to eliminate the blood-sucking demons and those who want to destroy us. If Hamas thought that we would break then it is not so. We will tear Hamas into pieces.
