Foreign Minister expressed this apprehension

At least 350 Israelis, including soldiers, were killed and more than 1,900 were injured. It is being called the most gruesome attack in the country in the last 50 years. In Israel’s retaliatory attack, about 300 people have died in the Gaza Strip, while about 1,500 people have been injured. Nepali Foreign Minister NP Saud said, “12 Nepali students have not been contacted and there is a possibility of their casualties.”

4500 Nepali citizens present in Israel

According to sources in the Ministry of External Affairs, 17 Nepali students were living in Qubuz Alumim in southern Israel under the ‘Learn and Earn’ program. Two of them managed to escape safely and three students were injured. Foreign Ministry sources said, “The injured Nepalese students are being treated in the hospital. Currently, 4,500 Nepalese are working in Israel, while 265 Nepalese students are working in various agricultural companies under the Learn and Earn scheme.”

Nepal government formed a committee

Nepal’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned Hamas’ attack on Israel. The ministry said in a statement that the Nepal government has taken this incident seriously. According to the ministry, the Nepal government has constituted a committee under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister Saud, whose objective is to rescue Nepali citizens present in Israel.

Nepal Foreign Minister Saud told Parliament on Sunday (October 8), “The committee will continuously monitor the situation and evaluate the situations faced by Nepali citizens. This committee will take necessary decisions regarding rescue operations and effectively coordinate.” And will cooperate.” Earlier, there was news of at least 9 Nepali citizens being injured in the Hamas attack.
