- The Israeli Navy has foiled the attack in Jikim Beach in the southern area of the country. The Israel Defense Force has said that the Navy targeted and attacked seven Hamas fighters, after which they escaped from Jikim Beach.
- According to Al Jazeera’s report, Israel’s bombardment on the Gaza Strip continued even in the early hours of Sunday. Al Jazeera reporter told that sounds of air strikes have been coming over Gaza City. Currently, it is not known how many people have lost their lives in the airstrike.
- Israel has asked people living in the Gaza Strip to leave their homes and move to safe places. Israel is targeting Hamas positions. Most of the people are hiding in schools built by the United Nations.
- The Israeli Army has said that an Israeli commander has been killed in a Hamas attack. Colonel Jonathan Steinberg has been killed in an encounter with Hamas extremists in the Kerem Shahlom area. Kerem Shahlog is the only checkpoint from where one can enter and exit between Gaza and Israel.
- Hamas has claimed that it has not taken dozens of Israelis hostage, but their number is many times more. A spokesman for the military wing of Hamas says that all the Israelis who have been captured have been kept hostage in different areas of the Gaza Strip.
- Due to the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, dozens of flights going to the capital Tel-Aviv have been cancelled. American Airlines, Air France, Lufthansa, Emirates, Ryanair and Aegin Airlines have decided not to fly Tel-Aviv.
- US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has spoken to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. He has talked about peace and stability in the West Bank. Blinken has told Mahmood that he condemns the attack on Israel through Hamas.
