Air India Cancels Flights: Air India has canceled flights to Tel Aviv (city of Israel) amid the war-like situation created after the sudden attack by Palestine’s Hamas fighters on the Middle East country Israel on Saturday (7 October). Air India has said in a statement that the return flight AI140 from Delhi to Tel Aviv and from Tel Aviv to Delhi on Saturday (7 October 2023) has been cancelled. This decision has been taken after the Hamas attack in Israel to ensure the safety of the passengers.

In its statement, Air India has clearly said, “This decision has been taken keeping in mind the interest and safety of our guests and crew members. All possible assistance is being provided to the passengers as per their need.”

Hamas has fired seven thousand rockets into Israel

Let us tell you that Palestine’s militant organization Hamas has fired at least 7000 rockets in a sudden attack on Israel. 40 Israeli people died in this attack. Israel has declared ‘war’ after the Hamas attack. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has also declared a state of emergency in the country.

Israeli Defense Forces counterattack

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) in its latest statement has given information about the retaliatory attack against Hamas fighters. It has said, “We have launched Operation ‘Iron Swords’ in response to the attack by Hamas. Under this, rocket attacks are being carried out in the Gaza Strip from air, land and sea.”

If sources are to be believed, dozens of fighter planes of the Israeli Air Force have also attacked 17 Hamas bases and four headquarters in the Gaza Strip. Many horrifying videos of attacks from both sides have gone viral on social media which are popular all over the world. Meanwhile, flying in Israel was not free from danger.
