US Dr BR Ambedkar Statue: The ‘largest’ statue outside India of Dr. BR Ambedkar, known as the father of the Indian Constitution, will be inaugurated on October 14 in Maryland, America. This 125 feet statue has been named Statue of Equality, which has been created by famous artist and sculptor Ram Sutar. It was the carpenter who made the statue of Sardar Patel installed in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Sutar has created more than 90 monumental sculptures over the last sixty years, which have been placed in India, America, France, Argentina, Italy, Russia and Malaysia.
According to PTI report, the statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar is part of the Ambedkar International Center (AIC) being built on 13 acres of land in Accoque city, Maryland. “This is the largest statue of Babasaheb outside India and is being installed as a part of the Ambedkar memorial being built at this centre,” the AIC said.
Expected to participate in large numbers in the program
Ambedkar International Center (AIC) said, “A large number of representatives of the Ambedkarite movement and their followers from America and other parts of the world are expected to attend this event.” AIC said that this memorial is based on Babasaheb’s messages and Will spread the teachings and represent the symbol of equality and human rights. The statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar will be unveiled on October 14, which is expected to be attended by representatives of various countries.
Program on October 14 at 10 am

Witness the grand unveiling of the majestic statue, a symbol of his lasting influence, and pay tribute to the great leader who dedicated his life to fighting injustice. This program will start on October 14 at 10 am and will end at 5:30 pm. Cultural presentations will be organized during this period.
