At Least 59 People Have Been Killed In Pakistan Balochistan Accuses India’s Intelligence Agency Of Being Involved

Pakistan Bomb Blast: Following Canada’s lead, Pakistan has accused India of being involved in the blast. Pakistan has said about the involvement of India’s intelligence agency in the two suicide blasts that took place in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday. In Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, Pakistan’s interim Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti claimed that India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) was involved in the suicide attack.

He said, ‘Civil, military and all other institutions will jointly investigate the elements involved in the Mastung suicide attack. RAW (Indian Intelligence Agency) is involved in the suicide attack. On Saturday, police filed a report to begin investigation, saying they have sent the suicide bomber’s DNA for testing.

No one took responsibility for the attack

Pakistani newspaper Dawn quoted the statement of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) as saying that an FIR was registered against an unknown attacker on charges of murder and terrorism. “No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. However, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), notorious for some of the most brutal attacks in Pakistan, has denied any involvement,” the report said. CTD said that investigation into the incident is ongoing and no one has been arrested yet.

Where did the attack happen?

On Friday, more than 59 people died after two suicide bomb attacks one after the other in Pakistan’s Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while many people were also reported injured in the attack. One blast took place near Madina Mosque on Al Falah Road in Mastung district of Balochistan and the other blast took place in a mosque in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The blast occurred at a time when people were gathering there to take part in a procession on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
