UK Khalistani Protest: An Indian student picked up a fallen Indian flag during protests by Khalistan supporters in Britain. A video of Satyam Surana, studying at Britain’s prestigious London School of Economics, is going viral on the internet, in which he raises the flag after a policeman steps on it.
Satyam Surana is being appreciated a lot after saving the Indian tricolor from being desecrated. Netizens on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) are calling Surana a true patriot. Social media users are seen saying that they are not afraid of any Khalistanis.
Indian student’s conscience shocked
London School of Economics student enters pro-Khalistan protest in front of Indian High Commission in London and picks up the fallen flag. He alleged that a policeman deliberately stepped on the flag, due to which he decided to go and lift it. Satyam said that his conscience was shocked to see such a thing happening with the Indian flag.

According to the report of News18, Satyam Surana said that when I saw that the Indian flag was being insulted, I went after the policeman who had deliberately stepped on the flag. I picked up the flag and left from there.
Anti-India and anti-Sunak slogans
Surana alleged that an attempt was made to insult the Indian flag during the pro-Khalistan demonstration. He said that he had never seen the flag being disrespected in this manner, so his conscience prompted him to protect it. Surana said that the protesters were raising anti-India and anti-Sunak slogans.

During this, one of the protesters threw the Indian flag on the ground. Surana further said that some protesters were angry with his act of raising the flag but the Metropolitan Police intervened, controlled the situation and escorted them out safely. His video was also posted on X by former UK government advisor Colin Bloom.
