Sudan War Crisis: At least 11 people have died and 90 people are reported injured due to artillery firing in Omdurman city of Sudan. At least 11 people were killed and 90 injured in heavy artillery fire on a major city in conflict-torn Sudan, news agency Associated Press quoted aid group Doctors Without Borders as saying.
The aid group said the attack took place in the Karari neighborhood of Sudan’s main city Omdurman. However, Doctors Without Borders did not say which side of Sudan was responsible for this attack.
Children also included among those who died
Doctors Without Borders is also known as MSF. “Following heavy shelling in several residential areas in the Karari area of Omdurman, Al Now hospital teams have hospitalized more than 90 injured people, many of them children,” MSF said on Twitter (earlier on Twitter). 11 people died in the shelling.
MSF said one of its vans was hit by gunfire on Thursday between Khartoum and Wadi Madani. Wadi Madani is a small town about 100 kilometers east of Khartoum. The army has complete control over this. However, there is no news of any casualty or injury in this incident. On Friday, MSF blamed the army for the attack.

What is the reason for the war in Sudan?
Sudan has been burning in the fire of violence since April this year. Fighting began between the country’s army led by General Abdel Fattah Burhan and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces commanded by General Mohammed Hamden Dagalo.
