Russian Missile Attack On Kharkiv: The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for 500 days. During this period, both the countries have faced many losses. Meanwhile, on Thursday (October 5), the Russian army attacked the village of Hroza in northeastern Ukraine with a missile. 51 people died in this attack. The attack was carried out by Russia at a time when hundreds of people were present at a grocery store during a condolence meeting for a dead Ukrainian soldier.
After the Russian missile attack, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky responded by saying that the attack was deliberate. This cannot be called any kind of blind attack. After the attack the condition of the grocery shop became very bad. There were huge piles of bricks, broken metal and construction materials at the spot.
Death toll in the attack 51
A regional official near the village of Hroza in the Kharkiv region told public broadcaster Saspilne that it was the deadliest attack in the Kharkiv region since Russia’s invasion more than 19 months ago. This was the highest number of civilians killed in an attack by Russia so far. Local police told national television that the death toll in the attack is 51, while 6 people have been injured and 3 are missing.

At the time of the Russian attack, Ukrainian President Zelensky was in Spain to attend a summit of the European Political Community. He said in a night video address during the summit that a deliberate missile attack was carried out on a store in a village in the Kharkiv region. Russian soldiers could not have been unaware of where they were attacking.
Rishi Sunak condemned
Russia did not make any comment after the missile attack in Kharkiv region of Ukraine. At the same time, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak condemned the Russian attack. Giving information related to the attack, Zelensky said that a six-year-old boy was also among the dead. On this, a regional officer said that during the war, we had given orders to evacuate the area. However, despite this, many families remained in the village.
Iskander ballistic missile attack
Ukraine’s Interior Minister Ihor Klimenko said local officials were sitting down to dinner when the missile attack occurred. Klimenko told Ukrainian television that people from every household were present at the commemoration. This is a terrible tragedy. Citing preliminary information, Klimenko said that it was revealed that the attack was carried out by an Iskander ballistic missile.
He said the attack was clearly targeted and Ukrainian security services have launched an investigation. Ukraine’s Defense Minister Rustam Umerov said that the terrorists (Russia) deliberately attacked at lunch time, so that maximum number of casualties could be caused.
