Queen Elizabeth II Killing Conspiracy: A British court has sentenced a Sikh youth named Jaswant Singh Chail to 9 years imprisonment for conspiring to assassinate Britain’s late Queen Elizabeth II. Jaswant Singh’s age is stated to be 21 years.

During a hearing at the Old Bailey court in London, Judge Nicholas Hilliard ruled that Chail should be kept at Broadmoor Hospital, a high-security mental hospital in Berkshire, until he recovers. After this he will be kept in custody.

The judge said that Jaswant Singh had conspired to commit murder, for which it becomes necessary to punish him. During the hearing, the court was told that Jaswant Singh Chail had gone to Amritsar with his family in 2018 and there he came to know about the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. It was then that he thought of assassinating Queen Elizabeth II.

Apologized to King Charles

It is noteworthy that Queen Elizabeth II died in September 2022 at the age of 96. Last month, Jaswant Singh had apologized to the royal family and King Charles III through a letter. According to the court report, Jaswant Singh comes from a good family. His father is a software consultant in aerospace, his mother is a teacher and his twin sisters are currently studying.
