Strong earthquake tremors have been felt in Japan. The intensity of this earthquake is said to be 6.6. After this, the Japanese Meteorological Agency has also issued a warning regarding tsunami. The earthquake occurred at 11 am on October 5, Japanese time.
The weather agency has predicted waves up to 1 meter high on Japan’s Izu Island, while waves up to 0.2 meters are expected in the area stretching from Chiba Prefecture in the east to Kagoshima Prefecture in the west. As a precaution, people in coastal areas have been advised to move to higher places.
