Terrorist Attack: A massive explosion took place near the Parliament in Turkey’s capital Ankara on Sunday. The terrorist involved in this blast blew himself up, while the other one was killed. Turkey’s Home Ministry has called it a terrorist attack.

According to the Turkish Home Ministry, the incident occurred at around 9.30 am local time. According to news agency Reuters, Takiya’s Interior Minister said that two terrorists attacked outside the ministry building. One has been killed in retaliation, the other has blown himself up.

Minister Ali Yerlikaya said that on Sunday morning a commercial vehicle approached the entrance of the General Directorate of Security of the Turkish Interior Ministry and a massive explosion occurred. Two security forces were also injured in the attack. Parliament proceedings were to resume on Sunday after the end of summer vacation in Turkey.
