US On India-Canada: America’s statement has come out regarding the tension between India and Canada. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said that India and Canada should investigate together. He said that  We have spoken with the Indian government and have urged them to work with Canada in the investigation.

Antony Blinken said that I got a chance to meet with Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar. I reiterated that those responsible in this (Nijjar murder) case should be held accountable. We hope that Canada and India will work together to resolve this matter. Whereas in America, Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said that Indian diplomats are being threatened in Canada.

America is very concerned about the allegations
According to Reuters report, Blinken told reporters that he hoped that this issue would be resolved by Canada and India. We are very concerned by the allegations made by Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau. We are in close touch with Canada regarding this and also, we have discussed with the Government of India. We have urged Canada to work with us on the investigation. Both Canada and India are our friends.

What did S. Jaishankar say about Canada?
During the meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, S. Jaishankar said that Canada is a cocktail of separatism, violence, terrorism. Canada has become a base for Indian criminals. Apart from this, threats are being given to Indian diplomats. We have asked for evidence related to Nijjar’s murder from Canada and we are waiting for the evidence. However, all the allegations made by Canada are baseless and Canada is giving shelter to Khalistani terrorists.

Canadian Prime Minister’s allegation
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau alleged the possible involvement of Indian agents in the killing of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar on June 18 in British Columbia. After this, tension between India and Canada had increased. However, India rejected these allegations as absurd and motivated and expelled a senior Canadian diplomat in retaliation for the expulsion of an Indian official in Ottawa over the matter.
