American City Sinking: According to the American space agency NASA, New York City is continuously sinking. The reason for this is the weight of the city. According to the report, the city’s Arthur Ashe Stadium, Coney Island and LaGuardia Airport will be among the first places to be devastated by the potential disaster.

Scientists have found that the urban area of New York has grown by about 1.6 millimeters every year, which is the same amount as a toenail grows every month.
The European Space Agency used data processing techniques from the radars of the Sentinel-1 satellites. The space agency studied the surrounding areas and the continuous sinking of the earth. The study revealed that cities are shrinking faster than average.

JPL scientist David Beckert said it is important to keep an eye on sea levels as the city continues to sink.
