Trudeau said that his government is committed to building closer relations with India.

PM Trudeau posted from his official The official statement issued by the Canadian PM said that in the next 9 nights and 10 days, people of Hindu community in Canada and around the world will gather to celebrate Navratri.

‘Time to celebrate old traditions’

It is often seen as a celebration of feminine energy. The statement further quoted the Canadian PM as saying, “It is a time for friends and family to come together and celebrate age-old traditions with prayers, special food and fireworks.”

Relations sour over Nijjar’s murder
It is noteworthy that while recently addressing the Canadian Parliament, PM Trudeau claimed that Indian agents were involved in the murder of Khalistani leader Nijjar. However, India had completely rejected these claims and called them absurd. Not only this, in view of the allegation the relations between the two countries had also turned sour.

Responding to Trudeau’s allegations, the Foreign Ministry had said, “We have seen the Canadian Prime Minister’s statement and also reject his statement. Allegations of involvement of the Indian government in any act of violence in Canada are absurd. We Are democratic and have full faith in law.

Let us tell you that Nijjar, a terrorist named in India, was murdered outside a Gurudwara in Surrey, Canada on June 18. However, Canada has not yet provided any evidence to support its claim that Indian agents were involved in the murder of Hardeep Nijjar.

India had announced ‘tit-for-tat’ expulsion of Canadian diplomats after Trudeau alleged the possible involvement of Indian agents in Nijjar’s murder. Not only this, India had also suspended visa services for Canadian citizens.
