McDonald’s Controversy: American fast food chain company McDonald’s has had to give clarification regarding providing free food to Israeli soldiers. Now the representatives of the company are giving clarification to the Arab countries regarding this decision. The company has given clarification in Jordan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. With this, McDonald’s has said that it will provide financial assistance in relief work in Gaza area.
The Saudi Arabian franchise of McDonald’s has distanced itself from the decision of the Israeli McDonald’s franchise. McDonald’s Saudi Arabia said, we emphasize that the decision to give free meals to Israeli soldiers was a personal one of the Israeli franchisee. McDonald’s International or any agent in us or any other country has no role or relationship, directly or indirectly.
Large-scale protests began in Lebanon after the Israeli McDonald’s decision. After which the company said in almost all the Arab countries that there is a need to avoid considering the announcement made by the Israeli franchise as a favor of McDonald’s.

Pakistani franchise separates itself from McDonald’s?
The Pakistan branch of McDonald’s Israel disassociated itself from the Israeli franchise over the decision of McDonald’s Israel to provide 4,000 free food packets to Israeli soldiers and give 50 percent discount on many food items.
