The survey, conducted by PBS NewsHour and Marist Poll, found that 65 percent of Americans believe the United States should publicly support Israel in the war with Hamas, while 23 percent of Americans believe the United States should do nothing. In the survey conducted regarding Israel, 69 percent of the Democrats supported Israel, while 77 percent of the Republicans and 54 percent of the independents supported it. Apart from this, people of today’s youth were included in the survey, in which 48 percent believed that America should support Israel.
51 percent of non-white Americans said America should take a public stance in support of Israel, while 72 percent of whites thought it should do so. A total of 1,313 adults were included in this survey, on the basis of which figures regarding support for Israel were revealed.
America is helping Israel
America is also providing help to Israel on a large scale. Recently the Pentagon issued a statement saying that it is sending a second aircraft carrier to help Israel in the war against Hamas. Apart from this, US Air Force Central on Saturday announced the deployment of F-15E fighter jets and A-10 ground-attack jets in the Middle East region. A social media post from US Central Command said that the A-10 will join another squadron of aircraft already in the region.
