Palestine’s Wafa News Agency has reported that in the last 24 hours, more than 400 Palestinians have died in the bombing in Gaza, while 1500 people have been injured. 260 people have been killed in Gaza City, 80 in Deir-el-Balah and 40 in the northern Jabaliya refugee camp. Apart from this, 30 people have been killed at two other places.
  2. Palestine Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has spoken to US President Joe Biden. He has asked for permission to open a humanitarian corridor in the Gaza Strip, so that food and fuel can be delivered to the people. He has expressed concern to Biden over the ongoing exodus of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
  3. Israel is being accused of using white phosphorus on people in the Gaza Strip. But Israel has refused to do so. In the video that surfaced from Gaza, white smoke was seen after the airstrike, which was said to be white phosphorus.
  4. Hamas has welcomed Russia’s statement in which it has asked for mediation. Hamas said that we praise the stand of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The statement given regarding Israel’s action in Gaza is also welcomed. Russia’s efforts are commendable.
  5. The morgues of Gaza’s hospitals are filled with dead bodies. Because of this, ice cream trucks are now being used to store dead bodies, so that they do not rot. According to CNN report, ice cream trucks have been procured from local companies and dead bodies are being kept in them.
  6. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Gaza border. He spoke to the soldiers on the frontline and encouraged them. Netanyahu said that our troops are in the Gaza Strip, so we are just ready. He has made it clear that he will destroy Hamas.
  7. The Israeli Army has said that it is now preparing for the next stage in the war with Hamas. After entering Gaza and launching a ground attack on Hamas positions, now preparations are being made to attack through air, sea and land. Thousands of reserve soldiers have been called for this.
  8. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. They discussed the safety of civilians and opening of humanitarian corridor to Gaza. There was also talk between the two leaders on ending the war and providing medical aid to Gaza.
  9. America has said that it has sent its second aircraft carrier to the Mediterranean Sea. The American aircraft carrier will not fight against Hamas in Gaza, nor will it take part in Israeli operations. It has been sent to control Iran and Hezbollah.
  10. Syria has said that Aleppo International Airport has been attacked by Israel, due to which airport service has been disrupted. Syria has criticized this attack and has asked Israel to stop its activities.
