Antony Blinken Meet Palestine President: Amidst the Israel-Hamas war, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. On Friday (October 13), both the leaders met in Oman city of Jordan. This meeting has taken place at a time when Friday (October 13) is the seventh day of war between Israel and Hamas.
Also met Benjamin Netanyahu
After the Hamas attack, the Israeli army is continuously retaliating, in which about 1300 people have been killed and many others have been injured. The party represented by the Palestinian President is a political rival of Hamas. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a day before meeting Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
Palestine said- we are against violence
After this meeting, Palestinian officials appealed to stop the war. After the meeting, the Palestinian official said, “We reaffirm the policy of the Palestine Liberation Organization, we are against any kind of violence. We believe in achieving our goals through peaceful political action.”
Palestinian President appealed
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas also appealed to allow international aid into Gaza. The statement said that in the meeting between the King of Jordan and Mahmoud Abbas, the President of Palestine appealed to immediately stop this attack, to restore medical and relief services, water and electricity services to the people of Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Blinken also met King King Abdullah of Jordan. In this meeting, King Abdullah also appealed to open the humanitarian corridor. The US Secretary of State has also planned to visit Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates to reduce the ill effects of the Israel-Hamas war.
