Taqi Usmani, a religious scholar, has demanded action against those organizing the Miss Universe pageant. Pakistani senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan of Jamaat-e-Islami party tweeted, ‘Who are the organizers of this competition in Pakistan? Who is doing such shameful work?’ After Mushtaq Ahmed’s objections, Pakistan’s acting Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has ordered Pakistan’s intelligence agency to investigate against the organizers of Miss Universe.
The Pakistani Prime Minister has also called the competition shameful. Along with this, he has said that this competition insults and exploits Pakistani women. Maybe this is happening because I was walking the ramp wearing a swim suit in a room full of men.” .”

Erica Robin is a 24 year old Pakistani model, who has a degree in Business Administration. She started her professional modeling career in January 2022.
