Israel Hamas War: Amidst the Israel-Hamas war, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a statement on Wednesday called for the elimination of Hamas fighters.
He said, “All the terrorists of the Palestinian terrorist group are certain to die.” For the first time after the sudden attacks on Israel by Hamas on Saturday, Netanyahu has talked about the elimination of Hamas.
He said, “Hamas is like Daesh (Islamic State group), we will destroy them like the world destroyed Daesh.”
Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Galant said, “We will wipe out Hamas from the face of the earth.” Netanyahu has temporarily put aside his political differences and included the opposition in the government amid the war. Former Defense Minister Benny Gantz has also been included in this new emergency government.
Gaza people rendered homeless
According to United Nations data, 3 lakh 38 thousand people have been displaced so far after Israel’s attacks on Gaza. According to BBC news, Israel has deployed about 3 lakh reserve forces in the Gaza Strip area occupied by Hamas.
