Terrorist Organization in Canada: Last month, the Prime Minister of Canada accused India of killing Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a member of the terrorist organization Sikh for Justice. After this, India reacted strongly to Trudeau’s allegations.

Many Asian countries including India also criticized Canada. India described Trudeau’s allegations as absurd and motivated. Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen accused Canada of giving shelter to terrorists, saying that the murderer of the Father of the Nation of Bangladesh Sheikh Mujib Rahman is roaming free in Canada.

Many Khalistani organizations are active in Canada, out of which two are banned and five have no restrictions. The banned organizations are Babbar Khalsa and International Sikh Youth Federation. Whereas Sikh for Justice, Khalistan Commando Force, Khalistan Zindabad Force, Khalistan Tigers Force and Khalistan Liberation Force are not banned.

Babbar Khalsa

According to South Asia Terrorism Portal, Babbar Khalsa is the oldest Khalistan terrorist organization. Its members are active in America, Australia, Canada and Pakistan. Babbar Khalsa has been demanding a separate country named Khalistan.

Wadhwa Singh is the head of this terrorist organization. It is believed that he is hiding in Pakistan. Mehal Singh is the deputy chief of BKI. The names of these two terrorists are also included in the list of 20 terrorists wanted by India from Pakistan.

Wadhwa Singh is accused of being involved in the murder of Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh in 1995. It is believed that Wadhwa had a hand in the escape of terrorist Jagtar Singh Hawara from Chandigarh’s Burail jail in January 2004.

International Sikh Youth Federation

International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF) was banned in India since 2002 under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA). This terrorist organization was established in Britain after Operation Blue Star.
