Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda: Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said on Saturday (September 30) that his recently concluded visit to China has strengthened the atmosphere of trust between Kathmandu-Beijing and between the two countries. Historical relations have deepened.

According to the report of news agency PTI, while talking to reporters at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu after returning from China, Prachanda said that his talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang will take Nepal-China relations to a new height. It has helped in getting going.

‘All trade routes will open’
The Nepali Prime Minister said, “During the high-level meetings, the Chinese President and the Prime Minister assured that the agreements made earlier with Nepal will be implemented expeditiously.” Chinese officials agreed to reopen all trade routes between Nepal and China, which were closed during the Corona epidemic.

The Nepali delegation that went to China under the leadership of Nepali Prime Minister Prachanda returned to Kathmandu from Chengdu city on Saturday afternoon. Prachanda had left for New York from Kathmandu on 23 September to attend the annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly.

Discussion on Nepal One China Policy
Nepali Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said that an important discussion was held with Chinese officials regarding the regular operation of Pokhara Airport. He said that after some preparations, a direct flight will be started from Pokhara to Chengdu city of China. According to Prime Minister Prachanda, he spoke openly about Chinese aid and cooperation for the development of Nepal. During the meeting, PM talked about Nepal One China Policy.

Both the countries discussed taking relations to new heights on the basis of Panchsheel principles, mutual cooperation and respect, international norms and law. Addressing the Nepal-China Business Summit held on September 24 in Beijing, he called upon Chinese investors to invest in Nepal’s priority sectors as Nepal has suitable environment and prospects for investment.
