The film “Jawan,” directed by Atlee, features Shah Rukh Khan in dual roles, while Sanya Malhotra portrays one of the members of his girl gang, Dr. Eeram. Among the audience’s favorite tracks from Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film, “Jawan,” is “Zinda Banda.” However, not many are aware of the effort and dedication that Shah Rukh Khan put into the making of this song. In a recent interview with ETimes, Sanya Malhotra disclosed that Shah Rukh and the team incurred bruises during the shoot. Additionally, “Jawan” continues to perform well at the box office, earning ₹7 crore in India on its sixteenth day.
During the interview, Sanya shared, “On the second day of the shoot, I noticed that Shah Rukh Khan had a bruise, but he continued to give his best. I pointed out the bruise on his hand, and to our surprise, we all had bruises on our hands. It was a surreal experience.”
Sanya also spoke about Shah Rukh Khan’s professionalism on set, saying, “He is amazing. He is approachable and engages in conversations with everyone, listening to their stories. Despite the scorching heat during the ‘Zinda Banda’ shoot, he never retreated to his vanity van. While shooting alongside Shah Rukh Khan, all of us girls were excited and felt like it was a ‘pinch-me’ moment. I wanted to rush back to the hotel and call my mother, saying, ‘Mom, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Shah Rukh Khan. It’s unbelievable.’ He never once stopped or asked to change a step; he completely surrendered to the director’s vision.”
In “Jawan,” Sanya Malhotra was one of the six girls on Shah Rukh Khan’s team. The film also features Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in pivotal roles, with special appearances by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt.
The film is on the verge of crossing the ₹1000 crore mark at the international box office. In India, it continues to perform strongly, and it is expected to soon surpass the ₹550 crore mark at the domestic box office, demonstrating its enduring appeal.
