George Floyd Death in Police Custody in Minnesota
Black Lives Matter protest have spread around the world after George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man, died in Minneapolis, Minnesota, after Derek Chauvin, a white police officer, knelt on his neck for almost nine minutes while he was handcuffed face down in the street.
George Floyd was arrested after a shopkeeper called the police on suspicion of Floyd using a counterfeit $20 bill. George Floyd dies after being arrested by police outside the shop. A video showed Floyd being arrested and a white police officer continuing to kneel on his neck for several minutes even after he pleaded that he could not breathe.
